Established in 2000, Bluebird Montessori School has been providing education and care to thousands of children in the Riverdale and East Toronto area.
Our mission is to nurture children in a child-centered setting that fosters the growth of confident, caring, and successful children. Each of our two locations provides a gentle, secure environment which lays a firm foundation for building a dynamic community of life-long learners.

The primary goal of Bluebird’s Montessori program is to help each child reach their full potential in all areas of life. Montessori educational activities promote the development of social skills, confidence, creativity, emotional growth, and physical coordination as well as critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Under the direction of Certified Montessori Teachers, the holistic curriculum allows the child to experience the joy of learning, gives the child time to enjoy the process, ensures the development of self-esteem, and provides the experiences from which children create their knowledge.
Bluebird’s programs also include weekly theme based activities that include: circle time, discussion, crafts and dramatic play.
